The Team of Experts

Collaborative Attorney

The collaborative attorney is your advocate and will advise you on all matters of law. A collaborative attorney has made a commitment to the unique practical problem solving approach to divorce. Your collaborative attorney will review and draft settlement agreements on your behalf, answer your questions and propose solutions for your benefit and the benefit of your family while considering the input of other divorce professionals on your collaborative team.

Mediator

The Mediator is a licensed attorney trained in mediation. The mediator will manage the mediation process and will assist the parties in assembling the mediation team of experts. The mediator will draft all settlement documentation necessary to complete the divorce process and will file your paperwork with the court.

Divorce Coach

The Divorce Coach will assist in reducing the conflict between the parties, help manage highly charged emotions, and facilitate communication between the parties. The Divorce Coach will help assure that you and your family will not be overwhelmed by the confusion, emotions and fear that often accompany divorce.

Financial Coach

The divorce settlement will determine the parties' financial well-being for years to come. The advice of a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) who specializes in divorce matters will provide post divorce budgeting, evaluation of proposed spousal and child support agreements, tools for analyzing the impact of alternative property division scenarios, and tax impacts associated with the settlement.

Co-Parenting Coach

In a divorce, parents must learn to meet the challenges of co-parenting children in two separate households. The co-parenting coach understands the unique impacts that divorce has on children and parenting and will give you an individual action plan for creating a successful and positive co-parenting relationship.

Child Specialist

Children are often the biggest casualties of divorce, and the least able to understand or express their feelings. The child specialist is an individual skilled in understanding children, will meet with your children privately, assisting them with their concerns about the divorce. The child specialist is trained in the collaborative process and is a licensed mental health expert knowledgeable regarding the impact of divorce on children and dedicated to minimizing the adverse impacts of divorce on children.
